CheckIn includes features to let you manage multiple store locations. You can set the Store Location for a workstation from the Dashboard, in More > Admin > Store ID, using the drop-down menu at the top right.

Important information about the Multi-Store features:

Payments are specific to the store location they're taken at, and cannot be transferred to or applied to different store locations.

Purchase Orders can be assigned to different different store locations (under Notes > This PO is for Store:), but this cannot be changed once items have been added.

To use the Multi-Store feature, you'll want to have the "See All Sites" privilege enabled. This will enable you to search multiple locations.

SROs
The SRO Dashboard includes a function that will allow you to view SROs created in different store locations, using the drop-down menu at the top right of the SRO dashboard. Note that this only changes the listing of SROs -- changing the location from the SRO dashboard will not allow you to create an SRO from a different store location than the workstation is set for.

When viewing an SRO from a different Store Location, you'll see a warning message in the top right part of the SRO. Proceed with caution: any changes to the SRO will apply to the Store Location where the SRO was created.

(Note that the "Location" field in the top right of the SRO window is editable, and has no bearing on the Store Location.)

To move an SRO to a different Store Location, click on the "Gear" icon in the lower right hand corner of the SRO window, and use the "Transfer to Store ID" tool. Note that this will move the SRO, but it will not move the PO. Parts will be sent to the location where the GSX Repair was originally submitted.

Products
Inventory can be transferred between different store locations using the tool at Products > More > Transfer.

In the "Transfer Out" window, first select the location for Inventory to be transferred to. Then, using the "Scan / Search Item" field, add the items to be transferred. You can specify the quantity, and if the items have a Serial Number, you'll see a red "Barcode" icon to prompt you to select Serial Numbers to transfer.

When the list is complete, press the "Post Transfer" button on the top right. You'll be offered the opportunity to print a list, and when the process is complete, you'll see a notice that there is a Pending Transfer for the location you selected to transferred Inventory to.

Next, you'll see a list of both Incoming and Outgoing Transfers. If any inventory has been transferred to the current Store ID, you'll see those transactions listed here. Can we post incoming transfers from this view?Image Placeholder
To complete the process, switch to the location where the Inventory was to be transferred to, in Admin > More > Store ID. Use the "Location Transfers" button on the left to bring up the list of pending transfers.

Click on any pending transfers in the list, and in the window that appears click "Post Transfer" on the top right. This will add those products to Inventory in the current store location.Image Placeholder
