CheckIn's Inventory Reports only displays the current quantities on hand for a specific Product. For historical data on a certain date, you can use the Inventory Lookback Tool.
The Inventory Lookback Tool allows you to get your Inventory values at a certain point in time. This can be useful for end-of-year Inventory reports or for Tax Reports purposes.
Using the Inventory LookBack Tool
To begin navigating to the Inventory LookBack Tool screen, start from any of the Dashboard screens. Select the More button at the top right of the screen. Then, select the Admin button in the pop-up menu.
On the Admin screen, select the LookBack Tool button at the left of the screen.
This next step may take a moment to load, as it is calculating all of your historical data. Once it has finished loading, all of your active products will be displayed. Select the Date to LookUp field on any of the products and select your desired lookback date.
After this step, the Inventory LookBack Tool will calculate what your Inventory quantity was for your Products at a certain moment in time. Select the Export button at the top of the screen to export all of the Inventory values. In the Export popup, select the desired fields (or all).
